Proxy is being founded
In the attic, the first server is set up, marking the establishment of the company Proxy Services B.V. The founders in 1997, Erik de Rijk, Irmgard Helsdingen, and Marco van der Kolk, are still working at the company to this day.
No more than a year later, Proxy's first employee was hired.

Move from Unix to Linux

Proxy opened a new location in Son en Breugel, accompanied by the establishment of a Works Council (OR) and the introduction of Agile MST methodologies. The OR was introduced to represent the interests of employees, while Agile MST methodologies ensured a flexible and efficient working method within Proxy.
