What do you stand for as a Linux DevOps Engineer?
At Proxy, we believe in team ownership and strive for the success of our colleagues. To ensure that our teams can tackle the technical challenges of today and have enough time for innovation and automation, we are looking for an eager Linux DevOps Engineer to join one of our client teams within Proxy Managed Services.
This is you:
- You're a Linux enthusiast who enjoys being innovative.
- You have Linux knowledge at the level of RHCE7/8 and would like to confirm this with a certificate or have already done so.
- Terms like Ansible, Docker, OpenShift, and YAML are familiar to you.
- It's a plus if you have experience with Git, XML, and JSON.
- Having Scrum/Agile knowledge is advantageous (but not mandatory).
- Most importantly, you're a curious individual who is always open to learning and self-development.
What do you do on a daily basis?
You'll work with your colleagues to provide our clients with a fantastic Linux environment that they are highly satisfied with. And you too! You're part of a DevOps team, where you implement automation (such as Ansible) and work with infrastructure-as-code (Gitops). We establish an update infrastructure, continuously monitor and improve performance for our clients, and focus on security from within our Managed Service organisation. We believe Linux isn't an end goal in itself, so you'll also gain insight into our clients' businesses to leverage technology in the best possible way. You'll be on standby duty once every six weeks.
